Cloudy/Dark Puss substance from Penis

Hi All,

In the last couple days my foreskin has become very Red and Underneath it there is a dark/cloudy puss-like Substance, which is what I also believe is making the top of my penis a little itchy ....

This happened once before about 8 weeks ago  and cleared up after a few days but then since then when I pulled my foreskin back it would have a white moist or lumpy substance under there. Which I diagnosed from online as being Smegma... which I assumed was cause by what i have now clearing up from last time..

I wash twice a day (along with down there obviously) and always have washed so frequently Now Im worried it could be something more?

I am also wondering what to do to prevent this... I have wanted to go to get it checked out but a mixture of embarrassment and lack of time ( I work when doctors are open) have prevented me from doing so.

I can obviously make time to go so i suppose it is just embarrassment really, But id like to have a bit of reassurance of what it is and how it can be cured before I do really.

In an ideal world id love to know if it will clear on its own or if it can be treated without attending doctors.

I have had 1 sexual partner for the last 2 and a half years and before her I have only been with one other person, so I am hoping it is not an STD cause it can only of come from one person really :( and reading up I am assuming this is what it will end up being.

I would also like to say that you have eased me a little to know that it can be other things as opposed to a STD and the fact that you recognized it more to be one of these "other" things in first instance is encouraging!!

I will start by saying that I am not the mos knowledgeable person when it comes to the human body.

so when you say a "change to my skins PH"... what is PH? n how are these things caused??

Also what is Flora??

I am sorry if this makes me out to look a little dense!!

Hi, what your describing is really not related to any std but more of a fungal infection or male yeast infection which happens from a change in your skins PH. Its your natural flora growing out of control. If this is what it is, maybe best to have your doctor check it out and prescribe the correct cream treatment.
