False positive for chlamydia during pregnancy?

Oct. 27th I lost my previous pregnancy due to an anomaly. I had all my blood work done and tested negative for all diseases. Fast forward 6 months and I am 3 months pregnant. My first visit I gave a urine sample. Second visit, urine sample, blood work and NIPT done.

A few days prior to my second visit I was experience a frequent urge to urinate. Having had an UTI before I was confident that's what it was. Unbenounced to me I would receive a call stating I tested positive for Ecoli and Chlamydia in my urine.

To say I was shocked was an understatement. I demanded a retest immediately. I raced to the OB office. The midwife took a vaginal culture. She recommended I take the antibiotics but I don't want to take them if there is any chance it could be wrong. I don't think pumping my body with all these antibiotics is great for the baby.

I haven't mentioned a word to my partner yet. He is preparing for an important exam and stressed with his business throwing chlamydia on top of will destroy his focus. I am confident in our relationship. If there was any doubt in my mind I probably wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut.

I've read that pregnant women are more likely to test false positive. but can't find a valid explanation for it.

First handedly I witnessed my sister go through a similar situation at her obgyn. She tested positive after just getting married. She went nuts her, husband was very upset. I told them each to go get tested. My sister went to one urgent care. The doctor was unprofessional. He was staring at her wedding ring and said chlamydia comes from sex and if you didn't cheat he did. Treating like her husband buys her nice things so he can mess around. Then told her he'd have to get treated after being tested. So, he gave her a shot and a pill. Her husband was tested and said he didn't want to get treated until after his results because he saw how sick she got from the antibiotics. Meanwhile both tested negative. Her gyno insisted that her office doesn't make mistakes and that she had it. Needless to say she's not going to that doctor anymore. I never like the women. Office was extremely unorganized. Once they came in and told her she was pregnant because they mixed up a Urine sample

Please if anyone has experienced my situation please give me some insight. My anxiety is through the roof and I can't stop obsessing over this.
