Thank you for your comment,
I definitely have not noticed any lesions what so ever, the nodes and the clear discharge are the only prevalent symptom left. The Dysuria (connected to Urethritis) is now a burning sensation/very slight pain.
I've abstained from all the below foods (not by choice just by coincidence), so thanks for the heads up.
I am planning to head back this Monday, I took the antibiotics last monday and figured it would be smart to check in a week.
I had one other question. I told this to the Nurse but he said it was fine. Prior to my urine testing I had already peed that day, about an hour earlier (possibly less). I read that this can effect the test, is that true?
you usually have obvious lesions when you have swollen lymph nodes due to herpes.
you should consider getting tested for syphilis after 6 weeks post encounter and herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months to fully cover your std testing bases. we don't have commercially available tests for hpv to fully cover that base unfortunately.
avoid caffeine, alcohol and spicy foods for a week too to make sure that they aren't adding to any issues down yonder too.
if you aren't better in a week, return to be seen and make sure that they repeat basic urine testing as well as manually examine your prostate too.

Why dont you post in the herpes forum for some feedback. You can also go to the expert forum and ask a doctor their opinion. I beleive there is a slight fee,
Alright. I was just worried I had herpes and I believe I was stressing myself out. Hopefully everything is fine.
Thank you
Well shes the doctor and knows best. You can have a herpes test 3 months after exposure..
Yes I did mention this to the Doctor. She still assumed it was Chlamydia right when she saw the clear discharge. However, she did mention Genital Herpes briefly after I told her as the swelled nodes is supposedly a sign of that.
Nodes are a filter for infections. Did you mention this to the doctor at the time?
Swollen Lymph nodes in the genital area.
Thank you for the response.
The symptoms above are really only what I encountered. I extreme pain while urinating prior to the antibiotics has now been relieved to a mild annoyance. I had speculated it may be UTI, however the Doctor mentioned nothing about it. Though I admit I was pushing for an STD as I entered describing that I thought it was one. I am planning on going back this upcoming Monday and assume I will be given more antibiotics. The swollen lymph nodes are not a cause for concern right?
Hi and welcome. If the test come back negative but are still having discomfort in your urethra most likely its and NSU/UTI which is a non specific urinary track infection. These are very common with unprotected sex with a status unknown partner. Sometime it takes a couple of trips to the doctor to get things sorted out. Symptoms of Gono, Chlamydia and NSU are clear/white discharge and burning while urinating. When you had the extreme burning while urinating you should have had a big time white/yellow discharge as this is the major symptom of Gono. Chlamydia is more subtle with more of an urethra itch and small time white discharge.
Just follow up with another doctor visit.
