Do I have trich

I had unprotected Sex 3 years ago.  I thought I may have contacted a std but have been testing negative for the last 3 years. I'm afraid I may have trich although I tested negative for it.  Would 3 years be long enough to get a accurate test result if my results were negative?

Since the encounter was over three years ago everybody is saying in fine. Since 2012 I have seen 3 primary physician and three urologist who say nothing is wrong with me.

Thanks for your response.  I read that trich is hard to detect in men. I'm worries that my results may have been a false negative. My doctor gave me three diflucan pills to take every other day.  It seems like the pills are making the symptoms go away.  I want to test again but I'm scared it might be positive.

A couple of weeks is definitive. You did not get trich from the ecounter 3 years ago!
