Excessive masturbation?

In December 07 I had unprotected sex with a girl I was kinda seeing. It happened twice... once in late November and the second time in Mid-December. About two weeks after the second encounter, I had pain while urinating and only a little bit came out. I went to the doc, blahblahblah and they prescribed me some Doxycycline which after three days gave me a hard time breathing so I was switched over to Ciprofloxacin. Everything seemed to have cleared up and it's already March but I noticed that sometimes when I masturbate my penis seems to hurt a little and the meatus (penis hole) seems to get a little red and irritated. I can urinate fine and it doesn't hurt when I pee and/or masturbate but I notice these adverse reactions only when I masturbate. Right now I just did a little while ago and the area around the meatus is a little red and seems .... dry? My question is -

Can this actually be due to excessive masturbation? A few days before my initial "STD" symptoms, I was pretty bored and sick and masturbated several times in the day. I'm by no means compulsive, but it just seems coincidental as I have actually heard of being too rough and causing some irritation. My tests came back negative for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea and the girl was tested and she had nothing. She also had no symptoms and her partner before never complained or anything either. I'm curious and irritated (no pun intended) with this situation so I wanted some insight. Thanks.

Stress does awful things to our body - worse than what cipro does lol.  (I hate cipro, but it really does work for some things.)

I remember drinking beer the night before this all happened.....never really drank a lot of water prior to this whole debacle but I have now since began to drink a lot. I just wish this was completely cleared. Being on the ciprofloxacin was probably one of the worst two weeks of my life... insomnia....mood swings....depression.....all for a bit of burning when I peed. I have also been EXTREMELY stressed in recent months and wonder if that has any effect.

It might be, but I'd ask how your water intake is, how your alcohol and caffeine intakes are?

You might just want to try to drink more water, and limit the others and ease up on your poor penis for a bit, and see how you feel.

I also want to note, I never had any discharge or anything coming out from my penis and the urologist said it seemed fine. I've had several urinalysis tests done and they have said everything is fine. I'm wondering why I would still feel this burning in my penis..?
