Frustrated and don't know what to do

Long story.  About half a year ago, I started feeling an odd pain at the tip of the penis.  At first, I thought there was no chance of STD (I'd only had unprotected sex once in about two years) and thought that it may have come from rubbing against my trousers (I live in Thailand).  About a month later, a bit of pus-like discharge came out so I went straight to the hospital and had a whole bunch of tests done - gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, syphilis, etc. and everything came out clean.  The doctor put me on 400 mg of cefixime and 1000 mg of azithromycin, and while it felt a bit better, it still wasn't right.  A week later I went in again and this time, he put me on doxycycline and 400 mg of cefixime/day for two weeks.  Since then, no discharge but it's consistently hurt.  Since then, I've tried 2000 mg of azithromycin, taken cefixime numerous times, and been put on 500 mg of ciprofloxacin and tamsulosin for 2 weeks.  The last one seemed to make me feel almost right, but a week after I stopped taking them, it's back to being sore.

I'm literally at my wit's end with this.  I'm so sick of taking antibiotics and I don't even want to go to a doctor anymore because I'm sure it'll just cost me more money, I'll end up taking more antibiotics and the problem won't get solved.

One thing to add: My ex-girlfriend tested positive for HPV infection (I'm circumcised).  Could that be the cause of the problem?

Normally 33 is young but would not rule it out until it was checked.

No, I haven't.  Is there anything I should ask to be examined for specifically?  One of the doctors I talked to I asked if there could be a problem with my prostate and his answer was that I was too young to be worrying about that (I'm 33).  I didn't really trust that answer though.

no, this isn't a hpv issue.

have you seen an urologist? Have they examined your prostate?
