Fungal infection or STI/STD

I USED to go to strip bars a lot and I would usually get long lap dances, usually ending with me ejaculating in my pants.  A few months ago, a few days after going to a strip bar, I developed a slight bleeding rash on my inner thigh.  I freaked out, went to a doctor, she said it looked like a fungal infection, RXd cream.  Not much improvement, but it seemed to slowly get worse and started spreading.
About 4 weeks later I went to another doctor... immediately said jock itch and RXd a stronger cream.  Not much change.
A few weeks later, I visited my PCP.  He said fungal infection and RXd Terbinafine tablets.  Seemed to sort of improve at first but now it's bad. The rash is in both inner thighs.  My testicles are red and my penis feels weird. I got two pimples? off to the side yesterday (not sure if they are blisters).  I am going back to my PCP for a physical and blood test.
I'm not fully convinced I have a fungal infection, even though 3 separate doctors have diagnosed it as such. It's natural for me to freak out and over think.  The only person I have ever had sex with is my wife and whenever I had long lap dances I have never took off my pants or had any of my privates exposed.  I keep trying to tell myself I don't have an STD because I never had skin-to-skin contact or intercourse with anyone else but my wife.  By the way, I am DONE with strip bars!
Anyone else have a similar story and any medical professionals want to reaffirm that STDs can not travel via lapdances? Many thanks!

Hi, no std can get through your pants, even if vaginal fluid was involved.
