Sex with High Risk Partner

So I will begin by stating that my partner has not told me he has HIV. I am just assuming due to the following:

1. He has slept with strippers (Im pretty sure it was unprotected because the genious thinks AIDS is for gay people)
2. Has most likely slept with prostitutes (although says he just hung out with some, did not sleep with...)
3. Has been addicted to cocaine and does drugs.
4. Has injected 4 times (could be more..says needles were clean and not shared...do I believe him..?)
5. Has had genital warts in the past

I slept with him and protection was not present.. Im really stupid.

Am I at high risk for HIV? He says his gf got tested after 7 months of being together and she was clean. That is the only thing I have to hold on to. Could be a lie.

I think I might have it based on this info. The sex wasnt long all 3 times.. Yes Im dumb.

Im probably at risk for HPV..but Id rather that than HIV.. I have been exposed to HPV in the past...

Help! Im freaking out!!

I wouldn't even say he's a loser.  I'd say he is troubled.

Thanks auntiejessi... He pulled out as well...
Funny you say that because although he is a sweet guy.... He has 'loser' aspects to him and is just no good...

Thanks so much, I am relieved!

I would call him high risk maybe because of injecting drugs.  The rest, not so much.  Its harder for men to get HIV from women than the other way around.

And actually, most commercial sex workers (CSWs) are not infected, and want to take steps to stay that way.

Your best bet is to just get tested, and stay away from a man you obviously have no respect for.

Well, genius, you misspelled "genius." Yeesh.

1. He has slept with strippers (Im pretty sure it was unprotected because the genious[sic] thinks AIDS is for gay people)

This doesn't mean he is HIV+. Sorry to burst your stereotype bubble, though.

2. Has most likely slept with prostitutes (although says he just hung out with some, did not sleep with...)

This doesn't mean he is HIV+. Again meaningless.

3. Has been addicted to cocaine and does drugs.

Could be a risk factor but also might not be. Depends.

4. Has injected 4 times (could be more..says needles were clean and not shared...do I believe him..?)

Again, a risk factor but doesn't "prove" he is HIV+.

5. Has had genital warts in the past

The majority of sexually active people have some form of HPV, even if it's the type that doesn't cause warts. Doesn't mean diddly with respect to HIV.

I guess the only question left is why you have not asked him to be tested for HIV if you are so concerned about it? Because that is the ONLY way you are going to know if he has HIV.

Making assumptions just doesn't cut it. Even a genious[sic] knows that.
