How can I test Positive for chlamydia and my bf test negitive?

About 3 years ago when I first found out I was pregnant with my first child in 2008. I had spotting and such. I went in and found out I had a yeast Infection. But like a week later I got a call from my doctor saying I also tested Positive for Chlamydia. My Boyfriend tested for it and it came up Negative. so he was not treated. Then in 2010 I got Pregnant with my second child and tested negative for everything. Now what I am wondering is how I caught Chlamydia with my first child when the only person I had sex with was my BF and he did not have it. I'm just trying to clear things up with us cause he thinks I cheated when I know I never did. So the only way I could have gotten it was from him. But he did not have it. How did I catch it? Can someone Please help me figure this out.

He was and still is the only man I have ever had un protected sex with. So  I couldn't have had it before hand.. I trust him so it had to have been a false Positive. Only thing I can think of.

Thanks for the help.

either you had a false positive on your chlamydia test which if that's the case, you can't figure that out now or you had chlamydia prior to meeting your partner and never knew it. otherwise only other option is that bf had it, was treated for it ( or took antibiotics for another reason that took care of it ) and was none the wiser ( or didn't tell you ).

chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection - you didn't contract it from any other way if indeed you did have it.
