How effective is condylox 0.5 for genital warts?

I was diagnosed w/ genital warts as of today. I'm being positive about the situtation b/c I'm reading that mode people become infected in there lives, & that most people get rid of the the virus if they have a healthy immune system. My doctor prescribed condylox 0.5 Gel. Is it good? Anybody who used it have any suggestions or advice? Thanks.

1 out of every 3 of us has a genital hpv infection at some point whether we know it or not. external warts are just a cosmetic issue and for most of us, getting them removed is all it takes.  The cream just takes longer that's all.

Since hpv is on your mind now, why not ask your doctor to start the gardasil shots to help protect you from the types of hpv that infect your cervix and can progress into cervical cancer? It's a 3 shot series but it works significantly and is well worth a painful arm for a day or 2.

No I never had the shot before this but my doctor told me that hpv usually clears up tp 2 yrs in my age group. I went & bought alot of cranberry juice & fruits, & yogurt. And I'm takin some vitamins to help boost your immune system to hopefully rid of this!!! Because it's very embarrassing i'm only 18 =( but im not sad just wanna be sure that i'm getting the best treatment!
