I dont think I will ever find out whats wrong with me

I will be 20 Monday, am a female recently diagnosed with HSV1&2. I had an unprotected exposure back in May, where I'm sure is where I acquired it from. I have been tested for HIV since the exposure four times, and was negative. I have been tested for HEP C, HEP B, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, negative. I have asymptomatic Herpes....however, lately I have been having horrible outbreaks on my arms and legs. Very itchy bumps that scab and look like ringworm or lesion. I do not know if it has to do with my herpes, my doctor told me no. So if I am "conclusive" negative HIV, and its not herpes...I have no idea what it is. It's quite terrifying. Scabies? I am somewhat OCD and have been suffering extreme anxiety for the past two months..I dont know if this plays a role. I just want to know what is wrong with me

I gave unprotected oral sex to a girl last June, and a few weeks later I started to have symptoms that somewhat resembled an allergic reaction. Among many other symptoms, for the past 3 months I have had constant itching (especially on my genitals) and a recurring ringworm like rash around my nose. I've seen 3 GP's and a dermatologist and everybody says I'm fine. Every STD test I have taken returned negative but I am 100% certain that I have some kind of virus as my symptoms return on a daily basis. The dermatologist told me that the rash was dermatitis.

I have read that in rare cases, people with herpes can have an allergic reaction to the virus that causes symmetrical itching (erythema multiforme). I'm convinced that I have herpes related virus that doesn't produce antibodies in the blood. I'm considering scheduling an appointment with an infectious disease specialist.

I empathize with the anxiety you are having. For the past few months I have been an emotional wreck. I drink everyday and I've started smoking cigarettes. The past semester was almost impossible to get through because I spent all of my time searching the internet and medical journals trying to find some answers to my problem.

Best of luck trying to sort out your mystery rashes. If you come across any good answers, please let me know.
