I'm really scared i'm getting genital warts or herpes

Today before i got in the shower i noticed a small red circle on the head of my penis
it isn't raised but when i look closely i can see what looks like 2/3 spots which are literally smaller than the end of a needle
I haven't had any sexual relations for nearly 4/5 months now.. could this be an std?
I'm not sure if it is appropriate or not, but if i posted a picture could someone tell me?

You need to have an IGG blood test for HSV 1/2...

I also suggest you go to the Herpes forum as they can provide you with better and more accurate information.

you can have sex as long as protected...although you should always be having protected sex.  Dont have sex during an outbreak, and some people take medicine to suppress or shorten their outbreaks such as Valtrex.  You will most likely be able to have children, presuming you dont have any other pre-existing condition that would prevent from doing so.

well don't jump to conclusions, you indicated that it has been 4/5 months since your last exposure.  you can get an IGG blood test for herpes and trust the results as you are past the window period of four months...

This could be anything from and STD to a bacteria infection... Also you need to get to the docs ASAP, the soon the better . I also advice getting a full STD panel to learn your status of all other STDs.

Let us know how things go =)

Calm down, first you have no idea what it is. Second you said you were going to the Dr's on Monday, well Monday passed and I take it you didn't go? Well I have some advice...go to your Dr first.

If you want to talk about herpes please post in the herpes community, they will have a lot of info for you there.
