Infected tonsils after oral sex

I am a heterosexual male. I have had (given) oral sex with four different female partners. On each occasion, a few days afterwards, I have developed the same symptoms: swollen tonsils with white spots, with no other symptoms (no sore throat, no cold or flu symptoms, etc). Because of this I have very rarely given oral sex in the 15 years between my first and most recent time. I have never had these exact symptoms at any other time so I think it is implausible that they are coincidental with not caused by giving oral sex.

A google search came up with nothing, suggesting this is uncommon. Is this a recognised condition, and are there any appropriate precautions or treatment?

The condition you have is nothing.   Just simply getting infection due to it.   For Most people who perform cunnings, this will not happen. The  vagina has a lot of bacteria... it's called normal flora.   Usually it's not harmful to taste this or have it in your mouth because saliva enzymes will break them down.

Try using a sheet barrier for this or immediately wash your mouth after ... gargle some antiseptic. Mouth wash.

i recently gave oral sex to a woman last month, almost the next day my tonsils were swollen and infected ive had no fever... no throat pain or cold and flu symptoms, the only issue ive had is the infection, I was given antibiotics and it cleared up after 10 days however it started to come back just recently I think maybe I re-infected by using my old toothbrush... how long did it take for you to recover?
