Can I get pregnant??

I had a routine STD test done.  I tested positive for chlymidia.  A swab was done, but it came back negative.  My GP indicated that the positive blood result indicated that I might of once had chlamydia.  How does this affect my fertility.  Will it have an effect on me becoming pregnant?

I have never had any gynalogical problems.

It would only have an affect if you left it untreated for an extended period of time. Were you given meds for the chlamydia?

the blood tests for chlamydia aren't very helpful. they aren't really the best way to test for chlamydia.

your swab was negative so you know you don't have active infection going on now.
