Could I have given him herpes???

So I’ve had herpes for about 4years now and I have not been very sexually active because of it...this past weekend I decided to have sex with a guy I’ve been talking to for a very long time now ...no he doesn’t know about me having herpes(I feel terrible for not telling him ) ...we had protected sex with a condom but it broke and we were exposed for maybe a minute the most ...I had no outbreaks and I don’t have them often...I’m just really nervous and scared that I may have passed the herpes to him due to the condom being broke ...I am a nervous wreck can anyone give me advice

Transmission rates a year for couples that have sex on average twice a week are 4%
You ad condoms and that is reduced to 2% you add antiviral medication and that is reduced to 1%. Something like that. So the odds of you giving it to him on a onetime protected encounter are slim

Thank you for your advice... it help me alot
So the condom breaking doesn’t increase changes of him being exposed to the virus
Well it does but as I mentioned above transmission rates are for couples having unprotected sex twice a week. And your was a mostly protected encounter one time encounter. The odds are greatly in your favor.
Thank you so much
Your welcome the rates I mentioned above are for couples who abstain from sex during outbreaks. And you did
