Itch, Burn and Intertrigo

About a month ago I had an exposure with a prostitute; with a condom. A week after that I developed intertrigo on the groin with an itch and a burn that spread all the way to the anus. I went to plan parenthood and they drew blood and took a urine sample. They also gave me a shot and a solution of antibiotics. The intertrigo was not affected. A week later I went to my general practitioner and she gave me diflucan, which again did not help it. I went back to plan parenthood and the doctor there gave me a cream with an antifungal and a cortisone; negative results for all STDs. All of my pubic region got red, even my testicles were hurting. I went to the dermatologist and they said that it was contact dermatitis and they gave me some cortisone foam which has not helped with the intertrigo but took away the red and testicle pain. I also stopped using the cream, since then I haven't had that redness on my testicles. The dermatologist performed a swab and the results came back positive for E. Coli.; they prescribed me antibiotics, but again, there is no change. All of this journey has proven exhausting and expensive. I read online about going to the beach to kill certain bacteria and fungus, so I went. Surprisingly the intertrigo was gone the next day. The problem was that it came back the following day to that.  What can this be? My current doctors think that it is just in my head, and believe me, I have been with my body for 25 years, I know how I am supposed to feel. The dermatologist is caught in the fact that I had contact dermatitis caused by the cream that was burning me. Can you please help me?

Sure, it can be all in your head. Anxiety can do that to an individual. Never underestimate the power of the mind. I would follow what Vance says. He has helped me before. But, like I said, anxiety can do that to you. So much to the degree that it can conflict with the sensitivity factor of body sensations.

You really think that is not related to an STD?
