Lingering burn after antibiotic treatment

Received oral sex and developed burning in penis, buring during urination, and frequent urge to urinate (actually remember experiencing burn in penis during ejaculation prior to receiving oral sex).  Went to my Doctor, provided urine sample.  Doctor's initial review of the sample came back clean.  Urine was sent off to lab, and the lab spilled sample so no additional testing was performed.  Doctor treated me with an injection of Azithromycin and then 1g orally ()2 500mg pills which I took at the same time).  Now, three days later, I'm still experiencing some burn and some burn during urination.  If I actually did have an STD, is it normal that the symptons would linger until I'm completely healed?  How long might I expect the sypmtons to linger (I assume the antibiotic woiuld have killed any bacteria present).  If I did not have an STD and urine was clean, what else could be causing the burning?

Not from this encounter.

I don't know if you have HIV or not, but you wouldn't get it from receiving oral sex.

It can take up to a week for the meds to work fully.  If it gets worse though, follow up with your doc.

It could have been urethritis, which can be caused by bacteria that is sexually and orally transmitted, or a UTI, etc.  Since the urine spilled (lovely), you might not know.
