Lump or Lymph node on inner thigh

Hello, I am a 40 year old non drug using Hetro male. here is my Question. Since last tested over a year ago. I had 3 sexual incidents.    All three were with white married women.  1st 2 were only insertive unprotected oral.  3rd was unprotected insertive oral and protected vaginal several times in the same day.  Always new condom no problems that I could see. Was not drunk.  Last oral was July 2010.  Since then have had no problems no sores no discharge, no pain.  About  November I noticed a small lump on my inner thigh about 6 inches down from my groin I thought  it was a pimple or ingrown hair and tried to pop it.  it soon became brown and the size of a ping pong ball.  My wife says it looked infected.  over the next to weeks it shrunk down to a small pimple and I thought it would be gone.  TOday I noticed it is starting to grow again. and it is painful.  Maybe my touching it is agrivating it or could this be some sort of STD.  Penis and testis are fine.  Any Ideas.  My last sexual experience was in july. Right now it is just a marble sized ball under the skin in my inner thigh about 5 inches below where my thigh meets my groin.   Thanks in advanced for your help.

Hello.

Here's the truth about condoms ---they work, I was glad to read you used them for the correct times of your various exposures.

Condoms are 90% effective in protecting from uclerative STDs, (these are hepres, syphilis and HPV (gential warts)); the reason for this is because the condoms don't cover the entire pelvis area and there is some skin-skin, i.e., gential gential friction.

I will say you were at low risk for syphils and hereps.  Since it hurts you should defenitly have a physican look at it and see if they recommend testing for them.  I would recommend testing for them.   If your doctor rules these STDs, it also sounds like jock itch or some other yeast infection.     Only a doctor can assist you with whatever needs to happen.
