Possible STDs Infections?

Dear MedHelp community,

On Saturday (April 24th, 2010) I decided to go see a woman who provides GFE (Girlfriend Experience). Basically a prostitute. I received un-protected blowjob, a few seconds rimming, and protected vaginal intercourse. I have a cut with blood coming out on my upper lip and only lick and sucked on her clitoris for about less than a minute while we did the 69 position (I'm on the bottom). At that time I did not noticed any vaginal fluid coming out yet. The only thing I did a lot with my mouth was licking and sucking her nipples. As for my hands and fingers I did used it to masturbate her and there was a lot of vaginal fluid coming out (I did not insert my fingers inside her). I also noticed that I have tiny cuts under my fingernails.

When everything is done, several hours later I feel very fatique, sleepy, light fever, headache, and sour throat. Today is Tuesday (April 27th, 2010) when I woke up my mouth taste felt very bitter and when I take a look at my tongue and it was all white covering stuffs and my sour throat seems a little bit more worse. I'm very scare that I might contracted HIV or some kind of nasty STDs so yesterday I went and take the "8 Test Panel + DNA Upgrade". I won't be having the results until the next several days and right now I'm so scare. The most thing I'm scare of is HIV. I also did some light kissing with her, which was only lips to lips for about a second each, and no deep french kissing (no open mouth or tongue involved). I am scare that I might catch Herpes or HIV and I just pray to God that it won't be HIV.

Thank you and please help me.

Oral sex poses a low risk for gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis. Gonorrhea most common, syphilis is rare and herpes is not likely unless an active outbreak was happening.

You took a test in April and in May.  You should trust the results and move on from this experience.

Hello community,

I just took a "8 Test Panel" on 05/26/2010 and here are the results:

Chlamydia Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAA):
Value: Negative
Result: Negative

Hepatitis B Surface Antigen with Confirmation by Neutralization:
Value: Negative
Result: Negative

Hepatitis C Surface Antibody Test (Anti-HCV):
Value: <0.1
Result: Negative

Gonorrhea Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAA):
Value: Negative
Result: Negative

Herpes Simplex Virus Type I IgG Test (HerpeSelect):
Value: 3.88
Result: Positive

Herpes Simplex Virus Type II IgG Test (HerpeSelect):
Value: <0.91
Result: Negative

Syphilis Rapid Plasma Reagin (RPR) Test with Reflex to Quantitative RPR and Confirmatory TP-PA:
Value: Non Reactive
Result: Negative

Is this test conclusive? Should I move on with my life and know that I am 100% negative (besides the Herpes type 1)? Should I need to test again? Please let me know. Thank you very much.

your hiv test results need to be discussed in the hiv community. we don't handle those here.

your hsv1 igg is + which it will be for most adults. even ifyou don't recall ever having had an obvious cold sore, odds are your hsv1 is oral.  http://www.ashastd.org/herpes/herpes_learn_oralherpes.cfm  has terrific info on oral herpes for more reading.

none of your "symptoms" are due to std's.  you are obsessing way too much about things going on in your body at this point and looking for "signs" where there are none.  You had a very low risk encounter. it really wasn't even worth any testing to be honest.    also typically professional sex workers of this type are tested regularly for std's to protect themselves , their clients and their business. word gets out that they have a std and it can ruin them.

Today is Saturday (May 1st, 2010). Feeling very sick, probably another fever + exploding headache. The past 2 days I am having a lot of gas inside my stomach and hungry a lot. Also went to the bathroom a lot and the feces seems to be intact. I am hoping these are the symptoms due to the Herpes type 1 virus, instead of HIV.
