Mycoplasma genitalium in China

Dear Doctors,

I was infected by Mycoplasma genitalium 2 weeks ago by a woman in China, Guangzhou. In panic i took first 200mg Levofloxacin x 3 days. Then Azithromycin 500mg x1day then 250mg for 5 days, and also 200mg Minocycline x5 days mixed with the Azi.
Im now on the day after my last medication day, and i still feel a small burning feeling in my right thigh, near the blatter. It is not a stinging burning pain. Just a small burning. Not really a pain.

The initial pain was more stinging and located to my urinal cord.

Do you think i still have this disease?

I have read that there are many multi resistant kinds of mycoplasma in China since antibiotics is cheap and easy to get here.

Did you ever get this cleared up? Levo can cause treatment failure and end up in flouroquinlone resistance — making Moxifloxacin useless and resulting in an untreatable infection.

I understand, but is it normal to have a vague burning feeling in your lower abdomen after having this treatment? Or should i feel nothing at all by now?  I dont feel anything when walking around, I dont feel any pain while peeing and the only time i feel this small burning is when im sitting down or lying down.

I can't say if you have it or not only a test will tell you. Also you should let a Dr perscribe the correct medication for you.
