Need Help Figuring Out What I Have?

This is a long story, so please bare with me.  I fell while playing tennis one day and scrapped my knee pretty bad, and since I didn't wash it enough, I guess it got infected.  So my doctor prescribed Doxycycline antibiotic.  The infection cleared up very quickly, but I continued the dose for 10 days.  On the last day, a small red bump on scrotum that freaked me out, so I went to urgent care and the doctor said it was an infected hair follicle and prescribed Bectrum DS for another 10 days.  That's when my problems started.  I noticed skin lesions on both sides of the shaft on my penis.  They didn't hurt, but when I touched them, they would itch.  I didn't like this to Bactrum, so I continued the dose.  By the end of my trial period, I noticed more lesions.  I tried to rub them out, but they got more irritated and more reddish.  I went to another doctor who prescribed one dose of diflucan and Lamisil.  Diflucan 150 mg seem to take all the irritation out, but left the skin very chapped and scaley.  After a couple of days, the redness came back and now I have this reddish irritation also under the tip of the penis.  So another doctor prescribed diflucan 100 mg for 7 days + Lotrisone, which is apparently a combination of two medicines.  I'm on day 4, and the symptoms don't seem to be improving.  I'm 27 years old; I'm not diabetic, and never had actual sexual intercourse, but did get a few hand jobs before.  I finally went to a dermatologist who thinks it may be a viral infection so he took a culture sample, but won't know the results for another week.  Any idea what could it be?

You aren't infectious from your hands when you have herpes or HPV.  You are only infectious from the site of the infection.

If we were infectious from the hands, then we'd all have it from shaking hands, etc.

I'd wonder that you just have a really persistent fungal infection from all the antibiotics.

I always here that STDs cannot be transferred through hand jobs, but I don't understand why.  If a woman has herpes or warts, then she rubs it all over my penis during a hand jobs, wouldn't that initiate an infection?

Well it is definately nothing to do with STDs that's for sure. Coulc be a low level persistent staphylococcus infection in which case amoxycillin should cure it. The doctor should and would have picked this up though surely so further than that I think all you can do is persist with the treament and keep going back until you make some progress. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
