Once Bitten, Twice Shy

About 3 weeks ago, my partner accidentally bit my clitoris while he was administering oral sex. It bled lightly for a day or so, was a little tender and I thought it had healed. About a week ago, I began to get really tender there again, and then I noticed some swelling, and a lump... followed by intense pain whenever the lump/bump was touched. The pain has gotten so bad I can't walk without it almost throbbing... and I woke up this morning to sheets covered in blood. I'm not thinking it's an STD, but I could be wrong?

The bleeding has slowed, the pain has lessened and is even bearable...

oh sweetie I don't think any of that was a good idea!!  topical antibiotics in the genital area can be very irritating and make things worse. same as if this is genital herpes, steroids will just make it even worse too. same with odds are whatever antibiotic you started, probably was not the right dose or even right antibiotic to cover most of what goes on in the genital area if this isn't herpes.

go and be seen tomorrow asap for a proper work up.

Thank you for responding. I started a round of antibiotics & a steroid z-pack last night and I have been administering triple antibiotic ointment, it's not hurting like it was.. If the antibiotics and steroids don't do the trick, I'll definately be making an appointment next week.

you need to go and be seen today or tomorrow and deal with this. unfortunately since it's a weekend, your options are limited to the ER today which is usually not the best place to deal with genital issues.your pain sounds severe though so it's probably not a bad idea to go there today. otherwise be seen somewhere tomorrow definitely.

stop back and let us know what they suspect.
