One time burning sensation

I was taking a shower today and washing my hair and body when all of a sudden the tip of my penis started to very painfully burn. I can’t remember if I started to urinate or if it just started doing it on its own, but this only happened once today. I had protected sex Two weeks ago and I made sure that the condom did not break. Is it possible that this is from an STD? Or is it possible that maybe some soap found its way in there or something?

Those that have had STDs, like chlamydia and gonorrhea, did your burning sensations only happen once?

I agree. If the entire encounter was protected, this is most likely the soap. If it continues, see your doctor.

Having protected sex helped provide a barrier to std's. Protection used effectively should protect you from any std that would make your penis burn such as Chlamydia or Gonorrhea, trichomoniasis or NGU.  Likely just the soap.
