Oral symtoms?

If a person had syphillis or herpes orally how long would symptoms last?  Would they eventually go away?  After how long?   I've had a feeling of something caught in the back of my throat as well as a white coated tongue that the director thought was thrush but did not test for 8 months.   Gargling salt water seems to help the throat for a short period of time but then comes back.   Also have bumps on the back of tongue as well the side of the tongue towards the back.   Are these typical with oral thrush Or more typical of std?

Your suggested STDs and the symptoms that you mentioned doesn't match. Herpes and syphilis symptoms usually come with painful sores.

Syphilis may be able to go away on its own in 6 months time. But it's usually too painful and the sores may be too hideous for you to let it go untreated. Herpes will stay with you forever but is manageable as long as you have good immune system. Go for a check-up in order to be entirely sure of what STDs that you have caught.

Do you feel this is an std?  Or could this be oral thrush?   The bumps are small and not painful.
can it be gonorrhea?
