Pain, burning in left testicle!

Hi, just a quick question. My husband over the past week or so has been complaining of pain in his left testicle. He has always had a large, dark blue almost black vein on the bottom of the testicle, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. The testicle looks different than the right one, which has no pain. It is slighly larger, looks a bit red and kind of lumpy. He says it hurts and kind of 'burns', and he has been scratching it alot. He also says that the past couple of days he has had a little burning when he urinates. I have no idea what the problem is and help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Thanks so much for your reply! He is now saying that his penis is itchy and red and flaky. I get frequent yeast infections, so I'm thinking something along those lines.

your husband needs to be seen today or tomorrow for a proper exam. This can be many things, most of them not std related. If you suspect he has had other partners, go along to his appointment with him and ask the doctor to also do a full std panel on him too.

sounds like he also has jock itch. ( hence the redness and itching )
