Painless red rash, discharge, tingling

I have had a painless red rash on the underside of my penis for two months. I used to have whitish liquidy discharge and pain in my urethra. After a course of zithromax, I no longer discharge but a light tingling sensation remains and the rash still remains. The rash fades when I take antimicrobial substances like coconut oil and olive leaf extract, but it never goes away completely. All of my tests for stds have come back negative. Is there any idea what this could be and how to cure it?

It might be fungal - other than that, I can't really say.  Have you tried anything like hydrocortisone cream?

After zithromax, the discharge went away and the tingling reduced to something barely noticeable. I went back because symptoms remained after two weeks, and I took a week of doxycyclene. Doxyclene further reduced all of my symptoms. The only thing that still remains is the rash. However it is very faded from where it was originally. My doctors refuse to prescribe me anything because they believe that the antibiotics would have killed anything. I have scheduled to see a new doctor next wenseday, but from the doxycyclene to now I have been trying natural products to try to get rid of this rash. Coconut oil and grapefruit seed extract fade the rash but it comes back and I cannot take a high enough continual dosage because after a while it makes me sick. This rash is causing me a tremendous amount of stress and I'm afraid to be intimate with my new girlfriend in fear of transmitting to her.

The rash is red and flat. It contains no bumps in it. It does not itch and it's not sensitive to touch. It is triangular shaped. Please help if you can.

I'm confused - you said you still had the rash and tingling after taking zithromax.  Are you on antibiotics now?

Its possible to be a combo, or not even fungal.  Since you are already under the care of a doctor, you should follow up with him/her.

The rash/discharge/tingling seems to respond to antibiotics. They seem to produce a herx reaction. Could it still be fungal, or possible a combination?

It could be fungal.  Your doctor can do a wound culture on the area and find out for sure.
