Please Help!

Please can anyone with any advice please help.  I had sex 2 weeks ago, using condoms during intercourse but not for any of the oral sex.  2 Days later I noticed a small 1cm red patch under the head of the penis which was not itchy or painful.  I put this down to the fact that she had a pierced tongue.  However yesterday I noticed small tiny red spots on the head of the penis, there is also a little bit of white film thats building up even a couple of hours after a shower.  I am not circumsized by the way.  There is a very small itch but im not sure if thats just me being paranoid as its barely noticeable.  I've a Doctors appointment and STI test booked for 3 days but am climbing the walls with worry its Herpes.  I've googled images and it could be either Herpes or Syphilis, but unfortunately Im thinking more likely Herpes.

Im trying to think best case its an allergic reaction to her studded tongue as I do get skin irritations from metal jewelry or even a jeans button but I think Im grasping at straws.  If it is Herpes my life is over as I cant have sex with anyone again without telling them first and whos gonna sleep with someone whos got an incurable STD?
Thanks for any advice
Andy

why wouldn't it be realistic to discuss std's and testing prior to a partner, even if it's just a one night stand sort of thing?  it's important information that you and your partner both need to know. You also should be discussing birth control and condom use too.   absolutely nothing wrong with asking a  partner to go for std testing with you and share results either. it establishes trust from the gitgo.

Thanks Grace, met the the Doctor today and he said its most likely Thrush but of course took swabs, blood and urine samples to be sure.  Relieved but will hold off the celebrations till the results come back next week.  Not that I sleep around or ever have unprotected sex but its not realistic to quiz someones sexual health or insist on a STI test before sleeping with someone, or is it?  Thanks again, Andy

odds are this is a fungal infection but certainly following up on it to get a proper diagnosis is the best course of action.

trust me, having herpes isn't going to be the end of your sex life if you contract it!!  it's incredibly common.
