Received Unprotected Oral Sex

Long story short.  I am a heterosexual male.  About a year ago, I gave into temptation and received unprotected oral sex through a "jolly hole" in an adult arcade.  (My wife and I hardly ever have sex and, being a male, I happen to like sex).  Some weeks later, I got a bad itchy rash that started on the inside of both elbows.  Rash progressed up and down my arms.  When that went away, I got an itchy rash on the palms of my hands and a little on my arches of my feet.  I read where that could be a sign of either an hiv or syphilis rash. Went to my primary doctor and asked for std tests which included hiv and syphilis.  This was in December of last year.  Came back negative.  Rash on palms and feet came back later.  Back to my primary doctor.  Tested again for stds (everything but NGU because I didn't notice any signs for that one).  Tests came back negative.  This testing was in March.  Later, developed an itchy rash that started behind both knees and progressed around my knees.  I read where that could be a sign of syphilis or hiv.  Went to a dermatologist.  Without mentioning my std concerns, she took a skin punch biopsy and said depending on the results of the biopsy, they may call be back for a blood test to check for syphilis.  She said that, again, without me mentioning any std concerns I had.  Dermatologist called back and said bacteria was in the sample and diagnosed me with feliciulitous (sp?).  Put on an antibiotic.  Later developed itchy rash under my armpits.  Stopped using deodorant.  Still persisted.  I read where that could be caused by syphilis or hiv.  I go back to my doctor in a few weeks for a follow-up visit.

Sooo, my question is this.  I'd like to believe in the results of my blood tests that I had last December and March.  However, I keep getting these strange rashes that when I check on the internet, all keep coming up on lists for hiv and/or syphilis as possible symptoms.  Thoughts?  If not hiv or syphilis, can you get any other disease from receiving unprotected oral sex that is not an std???  Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.  I REALLY would like to put this behind me and move on.  I thought I could do that with the blood tests and I would have moved on except for these reoccuring rashes/symptoms that always seem to be listed on std symptoms from various medhelp sites.

You don't have syphilis.

Thanks for your reply.  I sent a reply message to highanxietylsmft who also responded to my original question.  If you get a chance, could you look at that and give me your thoughts?  In short, I was wondering if people know of any incidents where a person tested negative on two occasions but later tested positive (when there was no other incidents of sexual contact).  My testing time periods seem to  be within the "you should feel confident in your results" period...3 months and six months is pretty much what I have read that gives confident results.  Again, I'd have no problem moving on with this if it was not for the subsequent rashes that always appear on medhelp lists for possible symptoms of syphilis (or hiv).  These rashes are strange...palms of hands, arches on feet, around knees, under both arm pits).  Never had these rashes before I received that unprotected oral sex.

Thanks for the reply.  I think you can see why I am having some trouble putting this whole thing behind me.  My first blood test was at the 3-4 (possibly 5) month period since the exposure. Again negative.  Then re-tested at the 6-7 (possibly 8) month period. Again negative.  I dont recall the exact date since I tried to block this out of my mind.  I know it was stupid to do this and that there were risks but I was in a bad place mentally at the time (lack of sex with your wife kind of makes you disregard commons sense and risks).  I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows of any situations where a person tested negative on 2 occasions but then later tested positive.  I'm still trying to believe in my test results and I would have no problems doing so if it wasn't for my on-going issues (rash around the knees, rash under both arm pits, etc.)

By the way, do you know if any stds (particularly syphilis) can result in a rash below the belly button but above the pubic area?  My dermatologist thinks that I have a separate nickel metal rash issue resulting from nickel in my belt buckle.    I do have an allergy to nickel.  I can't wear watches that have nickel in them.  So this could be related to that but I was just curious.  Thanks again.

Believe your test, this is not syphilis. Rashes don't come and go.

The problem with a glory hole is you dont know if the person
giving you head had a sore in the mouth. As far as hiv unless
the person was bleeding from the mouth and you had a portal
for entry like a herpes sore, no chance of contracting HIV. But
if the person had a sphyillis sore in the mouth theres a possibility
you can get it. Usually in the second stage you get rashes on the
palm of your hands and under your feet first.
