Recurring ngu infection?

A little over 2.5 weeks ago I was tested for Chlamidia, Gonorria, syphillis, and HIV after having concerns from receiving oral sex from a stranger- all came back negative. The symptoms that I had were some burning discomfort at the end of my urethra, especially after I urinated, but no discharge.  The doctor who examined me said it looked like the opening of the urethra looked slightly inflamed and gave me 1000mg of azithromicin.  He said there a several types of bacteria that live in the mouth that could cause an infection, was a possible cause of my discomfort, and the antibiotic will knock it out.

The symptoms disappeared after about 3 days of the exam/ antibiotics. I had no symptoms whatsoever for about 2 weeks.

I have not had any form of sexual contact since before the exam, but over the last few days have started feeling discomfort in the end of my urethra again- not burning as much as before, but a mild discomfort, especially after I urinate.

Is there a chance that an infection came back? What else might be going on?

How realiable are the urine tests?  I think I had a very good sample- hadn't urinated for at least 3 hours when I gave my sample....

I saw my regular doctor yesterday and explained that I had been tested for Chlam and Gon 2 weeks previous, treated with Azithromicin, and the symptoms came back 2 weeks later. He thought the Azithromicin should have cured either if I had them, and suggested that I might have a prostate irritation. He cheked my prostate, checked for a hernia, asked me if I had discharges (none so far), and gave me a 10 day prescription for Cipro (2x500 mg/day).  I told him that the STD clinic doctor had thought that I might have picked up one of the various Ureaplasmas or Micoplasmas because in my initial exam, that doctor didn't think I had Chlamidia or Gon.  My doctor told me that those weren't common and I should try the Cipro.

Should I trust my doctor or should I go back to the STD clinic doctor?
Will Cipro cure anything that I might have potentially picked up?
Would an extended regimin of Azithromicin be better since it did make my symptoms go away for over a week before they came back, or do I now have something that is resistant to Azithromicin?

I don't know what to do and this is depressing.....

Yes the infection might not have been fully cured, so my advice is to follow up with the Dr and see if he can do another urine sample to try to narrow down the exact infection that you have.
