Red heat rash lookin spots for almost a month. Can it be an STD?

Hello,
I am a 22yo gay male. I have been sexually active for 4 years now and rarely participate in unprotected sex. It has been about 2 months since I have engaged in sexual activities. About 3 weeks ago, while taking a shower I started to notice these red dot-like things show up on my stomach almost the size of a pencil tip. A few days later the dots had morphed into spots and started to spread. (Looks EXACTLY like a heat rash now) The rash started to spread to my back, upper and lower arms, upper and lower legs, foot soles and my bottom. I do not have the rash on my hands/palms, armpits, neck, throat, shoulders or face. The rash is flat, no bumps it is completely under the skin it does NOT itch and it is not painful.. I am not sick at all. Also, when you put pressure on the spots the redness goes away and turns its normal skin color.. when you release your finger the red rash slowly fades back (almost like a sunburn). My dad's girlfriend is a nurse and I explained to her my condition, she had no idea what it could be.. she said it could have been a allergic reaction to detergent or something or it could be my body's reaction to stress so she gave me a steroid shot in hopes it will make the rash go away. Nothing happened. I also tried putting lamasil on it thinking it could be some kind of fungus and again, nothing happened. She told me that the only thing she could think is that it could be an STD. Well i nearly researched all STD's and none of the symptoms come close to my rash. The only thing that might relate to me is Syphilis, Herpes or HPV. Also, as the rash started to move below the waist I started noticing faint white blotches on my scrotum, they aren't blisters, bumps or sores.. just white skin. In addition, a few spots on my penis have appeared too but these are different, dry skin spots that flake off and reveal red raw skin underneath. These have slowly started to healed. The body rash has not worsened nor started to fade away.. it has not further spread... it's pretty much just "hanging out".. I'm curious to know how much longer this embarrassing rash is going to last I want to start going to the beach. I have not seeked further medical attention because my rash does not effect me at all besides the little spots on my penis.. i'm just more curious to know whats going on. This has been going on for a month now, please help.

Thank you for the helpful suggestions. I have never heard of this condition -- Molluscum? until now. I researched it and it's definitely something I do not have, especially after looking at pictures. The more and more I hear about it the more i'm believing its syphilis. A very very mild case of it. Plus, It has been quite a while since I have had my last penicillin shot, actually almost a year now, last week of bootcamp in april. It has been very hard for me to find time to go to medical but I guess it has to happen.

this isn't herpes or hpv I can assure you.  it could be syphilis or even molluscum.

going to be seen is the best course of action.

have you ever been tested for herpes ( while we are talking std's )?

Hi

It's been month, its time to go to a physican about the rash.

You said, you "rarely participate in unprotected sex".   You should never participate in unprotected sex.
