Can an oral sti display symptoms in 20 hours?

I gave oral sex and swallowed.  a few hours prior to this I had protected sex and gasped a lot, I noticed afterwards that the gasping/breathing heavily gave me a strain in my throat but I didn't dwell on it. I don't think the strain lasted very long. After that we drank champagne and my throat and chest would really burn after every sip. But it didn't last long and I forgot about it. I gave oral sex at about 1am and swallowed the semen. At about 9pm the next day I had a bath and noticed afterwards that when I breathed the air felt cold. I've been paranoid ever since (it's now 3pm the day after noticing) that I have a sore throat. Now my throat still feels sensitive to air - the air just feels cold. But I'm talking like 20 hours after the encounter that this feeling developed and my boyfriend has always told me he has been safe in the past and thinks it's ridiculous not to be safe. I don't know if I'm just insecure and my anxiety is turning me into a hypochondriac (I am known to stress over tiny symptoms) He also seemed to be sniffly during the time I'd spent with him and I'd even asked him if he was coming down with a cold or something. Is it just a coincidence or is 20 hours enough time to develop sti symptoms in the throat?

I don't think there is any std that shows symptoms in 20 hours.  You need at least 3 days for herpes and that the earliest of any std I think.
Sounds like anxiety and your throat could have been irritated from deep throat if that's what you did.
