Rocephin and Zithromaz Side Effects
I was recentlt diagnosed with Gonorrhea through urin test and the doctor gave me Rocephin IM and 2 Zithromax 500 mg. I was given on Wednesday Morning. But by afternoon or evening of the same day, I had diarrhea. Watery diarrhea. Thusday Morning I started to have sore throat, with mucous and body pain, chills, and headaches. All mild. It persisted through Friday and so I went to CVS to buy Mucinex for cold & flu. I took the medicine and it lowers the symptoms.the symptoms however, don't go away and I still have the flu-like symptoms. It's Sunday! On your expertise, please advise me whether this could be potential side effects or a cold or flu I got from somewhere? It is side effects, when will I feel better? I'm so scared now because I might hace caught other STD, like HIV, and I didn't know. Today, diarrhea is gone. Thank you!
Any chance the symptoms maybe due to adverse side effects of the antibiotics given to me? Thanks

Hi what your describing is not a symptom of any std but more of the common flu.
