STD Concern?

Hi and thank you for the time you have taken to answer my question

On 5/25 i perfomed brief un protected oral sex on an escort and she performed un protected oral sex on me.  The entire experience lasted 2 to 3 mins.  After this experience i was extremely worried i had contracted an std.  The following day (Saturday 5/26) i had abdominal pain (in my opinion due to the constant worring of an std).  On 6/1 i went to a local std clinic and i was tested for: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV, and Syphilis.  The test results came back negative for all stds on 6/8.  During the period of waiting on my std results i continued to have abdominal pain, so i schedule an appointment with a GI doctor.  he diagnosed me with IBS on 6/5.  The doctor had me go for blood work and from the no call back i am assuming everything showed ok (blood work was not std related).  During the process of waiting for my std test results i continued to research std symptoms online and felt i devloped epididymitis in my left testicle.  I then scheduled an appointment with my urologist on 6/14.  I told him of my sex act and after the physical inspection, he told me that nothing was wrong with me.  He did take a urine sample and he said that if anything showed up they would give me a call.  I received no call from the doctor so i assume there was nothing found.  I have continually worried that i have contracted an std and physically examine myself on a regular basis.  Last friday (6/6) ( i devloped a single raised bump on the tip of my penis (please note that i have been diagnosed with PLEVA over 2 years ago) The bump looks to me like a pleva mark ( i have had them on my penis before).  That Friday i also noticed i had a tender and simi swollen left neck lymh node.  when inspecting the inside of my mouth the back of my throat seems discolored and my throat is not sore.  Freaking out i went to the std clinic again on 7/9 to get retested and i also had a physical examination of the mark on my penis.  I should have the results in a couple of days.  Does this sound like an std to you?  Should i test for other stds: Hepatitis? Herpes?  ( I do know i have HSV 1).

I apologize for the long story and any help is appreciated.

If you have a question for me please let me know.

Thank you!

I received my test reults and all were negative.  I tested for chl, gon, HIV, and syphilis.  I am beyond relieved that they were negative.  But of course my brain is not satisfied and i have become hung up on aquiring HBV from this encounter.  Have you heard of any cases of orally transmitted HBV?  Should i go get tested?

Your time and response is appreciated!

it's not likely you contracted syphilis from oral sex.  it's actually not likely you'd contracted anything from oral sex and it's more likely this is all anxiety related.

oral sex isn't safe sex but it is a low risk in general of contracting a std.  don't convince yourself that you had to have contracted something from this encounter. put away the flashlight and stop looking at your genitals. keep busy and move forward from this encounter - not worth all the testing and worrying!

Thank you for the kind words.  I am working on putting this behind me.

Do you think there is any risk for syphilis?

Hello

We understand what you are going through.

You were at ZERO risk for Hepatitis, and LOW risk for herpes from the exposure you describe.   Since you have HSV-1 (orally) you are immune to getting HSV-1 genitally.

You stomach symptoms and others are coincidental and are not related to STDs.  Let's us know what the test results were for the bump (if you had it before, chances are its nothing ... usually bumps aren't std realted).

You should forget about your exposure, there was a minimal risk for STDs from it.
