STD and toilet water

Hi I have been searching on the forums for awhile about STD and toilet water. A little while back my student card fell into a public toilet and unfortunately I had to fish it out with my bare hands. It's probably the gross factor that's freaking me out, but could I contract any STDs from that incident- even if my hands had some open cuts or something?

Thanks

Well, I got so unlucky.  About three weeks ago when I was using a public toilet at a hosital, the auto flushing water system was faulty and washing my penis and splashed the opened area exposed to the inside of the toilet.  I have been experiencing pain in the tube area after urinating, itchiness, and frequent need to urinate.  Then I went for tests, swab from inside of penis and blood tests.

Initial test result from the swab is that I now have inflammation in the tube area.  Doctor at STD clinic gave me antibiotic. I have STD from public toilet water!  Its terrible and so unlucky! Although doctor said one does not catch STD from public toilet water, but here is a case!  Would any doctor please explain this and the probability that I pickep up STD from the public toilet water.  Many thanks.
