STD contraction

Dear Dr

I am writing to you as I am concerned about my experience and would appreciate some object advise and opinion.

I have been in a monogamous relationship for many years, and apart from high cholesterol and a little fatty liver i am pretty healthy.

I guess a little to do with mid life crisis I was curious to try a M to M experience once and for all and get it out of my system.

I met up with a guy whom I chatted on the internet but no idea who he is when we met this is what happened:

I sucked and licked his scrotum quite heavily and about half way up his shaft. I then put a condom on him and continued performing oral sex to him.
Then he did the same to me. No rimming, nor performing oral on my penis on his behalf although I cannot confirm whether any excess saliva reached my anus.

He then rubbed his crotch area with mine, lubed up and he inserted his penis and we attempted anal sex. It hurt alot so he probably trusted half a dozen times, we then changed position with me on top inserted again it hurt so he came out, he took the condom off masturbated while I was playing with his scrotum he came and that was it. No other contact.  I went to the toilet to clean the lube off I pushed my finger inside my anus a little and noticed a very very small touch of blood was on the toilet paper.

From the following day,  I started feeling a little weird, slight headache, slight sore throat, slight stiff neck, I also hard diarrhea that evening but just once incident. I have also been having ulcers in my mouth after about 2 days. Today exactly 1 week after I notice that I have a number ulcers on my tonsils and on my tongue. I am not new to ulcers I do have them every now and then and from memory I had an ulcer on the side of my tongue a day or two before. But never do they need any medical attention and they have never bothered me.

I kindly ask you to advise me what STD's I would be exposed too, and if could please advise me what tests and when I should do, and whether these ulcers and "weird" feelings are totally coincidental and my body overreacting to my fears. I have been reading about std's but the more I read the more confused I become.

I thank you kindly in advance for your help and I would probably would not be able to tell my practitioner the facts correctly.

Thank you.

Wayne

This is relatively low risk since it was protected anal sex and protected oral for the most part.  I wouldn't worry about hiv or the bacterial std's.  Hpv or mollscum could be an issue but you can't test for either of them unless you have active symptoms. in theory the naked rubbing of 2 genital areas could transmit herpes too but even that's low risk.

Overall I wouldn't worry too much about it from this one time encounter.
