I have never heard of that.
Hi, sorry to keep asking questions but I done some researching. Is it possible that I have what they call "honeymoon cystitis"? Have you heard of this before? when I researched it, it said that some women get a UTI after having sex with a new partner, which is why they call it honeymoon cystitis, and that the woman should have a follow up with the doctor if she has symptoms "post honeymoon". Is this possible? Could it be because a new bacteria was introduced? Cause now I only have the strong urine smell in the morning, or when I don't drink enough water.
Yes, you can have a yeast infection without the itching. After re-reading, since you are having symptoms again 3 weeks after having unprotected sex, you probably should get tested for chlamydia/gonorrhea. Even if it is just to rule it out. You really should just keep following up with your doctor. So many infections women get present similar symptoms and you want to make sure you treat it properly.
Ok, is it common to have a yeast infection without the itching and have a strong smell to urine? I have a little tiny bit of itching, not what I have read that other people experienced with a yeast infection. And I have a strong smell to my urine, like that of a UTI, there is a little burning, but not in my uretha (or however you spell that) it burns a little bit when the urine hits the outside. I still don't have an unusual discharge, or foul smell coming from my vagina. What can this be?
Cranberry helps with bacterial infections...not yeast. Yogurt is best to help with yeast.
Ok thank you. I was just worried cause I have never had one show up right after I got rid of one. And cranberry juice didn't help any.
Chlamydia symptoms do not show until 1-4 weeks after exposure if they show at all. So, it is not likely that this is chlamydia. Go back to your doctor to make sure this isn't a yeast infection from the antibiotics.
