STD transmission through lipstick-tester?

Hi, I tried on a tester lipstick at the makeup shop, and then I realized how foolish and immature it was, because I might have tiny cuts on my lips, and the person who previously tried that lipstick on could have an STD. I read that, for example, syphilis can be transmitted through shared objects like glass or lipstick. Am I at any risk for STD transmission?

You are at ZERO risk for any STD transmission from the senario you describe, this includes syphilis.

Syphilis is an STD, and its called that for a reason.  Using lipstick at a makeup shop is not a sexual act.
