STI from Anal fingerin and Fellatio

Had an encounter with a MA and she fingered my anus for 2 mins and unprotected fellatio for 2 mins. 3-4 days later started to develop a hemmoroid and it got so painful I need to go to a clinic. The ended up lancing it and when they did there was pus and they think it is infected. What are the odds that this is an STI? They are sending the culture to a lab to find out. They have put me on antibiotics in the mean time

A hemorrhoid is not an STI, and hemorrhoids are never a sign of one.

Are they sure it was a hemorrhoid? It's not impossible for that to become infected, but it's considered rare for that to happen. Perhaps the fingering caused a cut and that got infected? Hemorrhoids can need to be lanced, but being infected is rare.

In any case, fingering does not transmit STIs, and while unprotected oral can transmit them, none would cause anything that needs to be lanced.

Unprotected oral can transmit gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and herpes - none of which would cause anything that needs lancing.

I'm sorry that happened and it sounds very painful. Make sure to follow their instructions so it doesn't get further infected.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes it was/is painful. I didn’t think fingering was and given that the oral was on the penis unlikely it would have affected the anus. They thought is was a hemmoroid but could be a fissure or boil. My only concern was an STI. One of the antibiotics is CIPRO so likely would heal a few possible ones
Cipro could cure gonorrhea, but it's resistant now in most countries, and cipro won't cure anything else. Pay attention to side effects with Cipro - there are many, and some can be serious.

Oral sex is lower risk than vaginal or anal sex, though it's not no risk.

A fissure is possible from fingering, since it's just a break in skin or tissue. That could cause the infection. A boil would be unrelated.

I hope you heal quickly and feel better soon. :)
Oh and if you wanted to test for any STIs, you'll need to wait until you've been off all antibiotics for 3 weeks to make sure your tests are accurate.
I just looked at my chart and they say it is a peri-rectal abscess. Unfortunately when I look this up it looks like STD’s are a major cause. I would be shocked if this was the case as she just used her finger
Trauma to the area can cause that, and if you'd had anal sex, maybe it would be from an STI. You didn't, so it's probably trauma.

Sorry for the follow up question but do you know how long it takes to get results from a swab that was taken from a culture wound (Monday) to determine the bacteria? Intellectually I know that it shouldn’t be an STI as I didn’t have anal and not sure if she had any infections, also it happened 3-4 days later so not enough time to get symptoms from the event. However the longer the results take the more anxious I am.
That depends entirely on the lab. Did they test you for STIs? You should call your doctor and ask how long it will take.

This is not going to be an STI. You got fingered. There's no risk for an STI from this.

The only risk for STIs is from the oral sex, and to test for that, you'd have to pee in a cup. To test now, you'll have to wait 3 weeks after you're off the antibiotics for the lancing.
