Semen allergy?

I didn't know where to put this question since it seemed a little X rated for a general allergies question but..

I am having some kind of localized reaction to my partner's semen. Every time he finishes inside me I have severe pain with swelling and redness almost instantly. (about 1 minute onset). My outer labia and opening puff up REALLY large on both sides (sorry to be graphic) and it burns when I pee. It usually lasts only about 30 minutes to an hour, but it seems to be getting worse each time. The pain has been getting worse each time, and this morning I am STILL a little bit swollen from last night!! (Almost 8 hours later, although the pain is mostly gone). I researched semen allergies on the internet and every website seems to say "its possible but not likely." I know this isn't an STD becuase it happens instantly and only when we have non protected-non, withdrawl sex. And it usually goes away right away. And I know it's not lack of lubrication because it's very different from that type of pain. Are semen allergies really all that unlikely???

He's the only guy I've ever let finish inside me without a condom so I have no other guys to compare it to, but this is the first time anything like this has happened to me. So I don't know if it's just him or all guys... He's also had blood tests for STDs and doesn't have anything, and these symptoms only happen when I come into contact with his semen vaginally.

Thanks!

it's certainly something to discuss with your gyn.

no, no sudden std symtoms like this occur.

There is but it involves taking a sample of your partners semen in, and having them create some sort of scratch test... kind of involved. I'm not sure who even provides this test. I can't visit a practitioner while symptoms are present because they go away in such a short time, which is what has me worried. Any time I self diagnose I obsess over it.  In the mean time, condoms take care of them problem, I just wanted to know if there was some "instant onset STD" situation that could have similar repeat symptoms.

the best thing to do is to follow up with your provider for this.   I'm not sure of the testing involved but I'm sure there is something they can do to check for this.

Until you figure out what is going on, best to only have protected sex from the sounds of things.

sorry forgot to clarify what I mean by "getting worse", this has only happened about 5 times total, and it's been over the 6 months we've been dating, sometimes when the timing is safe he doesn't pull out. I have no symptoms in between and it happens EVERY time he doesnt pull out, and never happens when we use a condom
