Sex after Treatment for STIs

After being informed of exposure to chlamydia, I was STD tested and treated with one-time dose Zithromax 1000mg oral.   Results came in 4 days later, I was positive for gonorrhea too.  I Was prescribed one time dose Levoquin 1000mg oral.  Ive been doing my research and I'm seeing that oral Levoquin is no longer the recommended treatment for Gon.

--Do you think the antibiotics I was prescribed are sufficient?
--When can I be retested to see if the C and G are gone?

Also, My health provider informed me at first to wait a week before intercourse, then after diagnosing the gonorrhea she said 3weeks.  Well, whoops (1wk post chlamydia tx, and 3days post Gon. treatment) I had protected vaginal sex (with a condom) and unprotected oral sex (without condom). Also started my period during intercourse.

--Is it likely my new partner was exposed to the STIs or would the bacteria be dead from the antibiotics already?
--I think that ever since I contracted the STI's (4months ago) intercourse has stimulated my period, is this a sign of damage or complications such as PID? Or just timely coincidence?

1. We can't comment on medication
2. 3 weeks after medication
3. Most likely partner was not exposed
4. Can;t say would have to see a Dr for an exam

Did you have sex while on your treatment? If so that was a bad idea. Talk to your doctor and she will recommend how long to wait to get retested. And the pill for gonerrhea is true. They prefer the shot now.
