"Slits" on the penis

i'm not exactly sure what this is being caused by, but does anyone know why small "slits" could appear on the bottom of the penile shaft? I don't even think it's an std, but i'm lost as to where i should post. They have been fairly consistent on and off for the past 2 weeks. They look like such deep ridges that it practically looks like a slit. I haven't had sex during these last 2 weeks either. They hurt but very milldly, and the pain comes and goes on and off throughout the days over these last 2 weeks. Any1 had or heard of anything like this?

You are correct, it is not related to an STD. Thus, this forum can't really help you.
