So, I am 21 years old. I am sexually active, and I recently been diagnosed with Chlamydia. I was negative for herpes, gonorrhea, and HIV. I took the one time dose, 1 gram, of Azithromycin prescribed by the clinician, and yet I am still experiencing some symptoms. I am currently experiencing the run-of-the-mill UTI and testicular pain. As far as this is concerned - how long until the symptoms are completely diminished? Or, is it possible that the Azithromycin didn't do it's job? I took the Zithromax in the first week of November, I am currently experience mild symptoms and it is now December 23rd.
Also, I have noticed more and more lately that I am growing anxious of silly things after my battle with Chlamydia. Now that I know I am that susceptible, I fear everything I see on my genitals or experience might be an STD. I have done tons and tons of research and I can tell you at the top of my head what symptoms are related to what. Having said that, there is a small bump that is near my anus that has been there since I could remember - I think since I even became more sexually active. However, I worry that it might be a form of HPV. It is one single bump and it has not grown in size nor have any other bumps appeared. To my best understanding, genital warts will, within a period of at least 2 weeks, begin to form cauliflower like clusters or grow in size. Usually around they anus they are flat and skin color. This bump is almost like someone put a ball bearing underneath the skin.
Also, I have noticed that I am experiencing a lot more flatulence than normal. Is that associated with any STD? Or is it healthy? I'd say I experience at least 15 flatulence a day.
And ONE FINAL QUESTION: Is coughing without experiencing flu like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, sores and lesions, or rash a sign of HIV? Or am I being somewhat neurotic?
