Somewhat of an Enigma

Hello,

For the past four or five months now I've dealt with recurrent epididymitis, my doctor prescribed sulfameth to treat what appeared to be an infection, I had urine samples taken by multiple labs (4 since it first started) and all of which were first void and all came back negative, no white blood cells were found, however, in one test some erythrocytes were present. I am sexually active in a monogamous relationship and neither of us have had penetrative intercourse before. I originally went to see my PCP for a lump that I found along the perineum, in the process my PCP suspected that I may also have a small inguinal hernia but wasn't sure. Radiology determined that the lump was a fluid-filled cyst and that no hernia was detectable through ultrasound.

The pain is not consistent, it waxes and wanes through the day and there is no discharge of any kind. There is some swelling, but no pain, warmth or redness other than a dull ache.

Keep working with your Dr, not much I can tell you. This is not STD related.
