Paranoid...need help on STD question...

I'm an 18 year old male virgin who had a gay experience. We kissed, gave each other oral, and kissed after that... He gave me a rim job and kissed me a while after as well. Neither of us ejaculated...I wasnt feeling it...so I left...today is august 8th and we did this Friday, august 5th.. I believe he has only ha one partner other than me....he said he doesn't have anything...I have like mucus in the back of my throat and I'm starting to get worried and hypochondriac-tic. Please someone help me...I'm too afraid to ask my parents cause they don't know about it being a guy. Is it too early be worried about this?

the shots are a 3 shots series given over 6 months. Definitely ask mom/dad if you've had them done and if not, follow up on it.

mucous in the back of the throat isn't a std issue.

this is very low risk. Oral sex in general isn't worth testing for std's for unless you develop symptoms.

You are just starting out with your sexual experiences from the sounds of things so it's best to know about std's, understand them and know now to protect yourself!  The best thing to do is when the clothes come off, the condoms go on ( for you and your  male partner ). It will protect you best from std's that way instead of just waiting for actual penetration or even just actual oral sex to put on the condom.  Now I"m a trust no one kinda of gal and never believe that folks are getting std testing let alone getting the right testing done - it's ok to ask to see test results and to ask about their testing when they say they have had testing done :)   www.iwannaknow.org has terrific info on std's, condom use etc and is aimed specifically at teens. Might be worth checking out when you have time for more suggestions too.

So at this point, little reason to worry. Should you develop any symptoms, be seen for a  proper work up.

have you had your gardasil shots too? Very important for gay males to get them to help protect them against hpv.
