NGU is rarely tested to know the cause other than chlamydia; the usual approach is to just treat with different antibiotics.
For sure it isn't herpes. Prostatitis is possible, but usually doesn't cause urethral discharge. Beyond that, it's usually a matter of guesswork and trying different antibiotics. You'll just have to see a health professional; there's nothing more a nonprofessional community forum can do.
You are correct I do have NGU, but that is a very vague and not the actual cause of the problem as we all know. I know that NGU can be caused by a number of things from soap to herpes! I already went to the STD clinic 12 days ago. I was tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I returned to clinic for 2nd time and they examined me and decided they would try treatment for trichomoniasis as a last option and if that doesnt help then they have no more answers or help for me. My question is could it be caused by urethral herpes, E Coli, mycoplasma genitalium, trichomonas vaginalis, or prostatitis? Im 23, Male, one female sex partner.
It sounds like you have nonchlamydial nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), which sometimes is not cured by standard treatments. You'll need to be professionally evaluated in person by a clinic or doctor who understands STDs. I can't solve your insurance problem, except to suggest you probably could be seen at little or no cost at your local health department STD clinic.
The anal irritation is a separate problem, perhaps a yeast infection resulting from antibiotic treatment.
