helloo everyone
like 9 weeks agoo i had an unprotected vaginal intercourse, and i did my hiv ag/ab test at 28 days n it came back Negative NEGATIVE, i asked the doctor he said i dnt need anymre testing, maybe once at 3 month and the result will also be negative i hope...
anyway my question is...
i wanted to do tests for syphilis, clamidia and gonorella.., bt i asked the lab they said they have a lot kinda of tests for syphilis, any help at 9 weeks what kind of test in each of these can i take .. thanks ..
and the herpes, should i get tested or i should wait for symptoms...

your provider is your medical provider - doctor, NP, PA etc

There are limits to what we can do online. You need to be seen for a proper work up and testing.

alwayse when anything happens i say, aww maybe i have this or that ...
yes, am nt expecting any symptoms, except the itching, and it went away soo fast, bt the itching after exposure by 1 week, n it lasts for 2 weeks, until i put a cream n then it went away, this itching it was between my balls, maybe bec i gain wait and my legs are touching the jeans and my balls, u knw..n also i used to have this kind of itching used to come to me even when i was vergin ...
soo maybe yes u are right ...
i think am clean, bt i should go for testing for peace of mind thanks ...
bt jst one last question.. should i expect any symptoms, cse sme sites says that symptoms may nt occur soo.. ??

the reason why i dont think its anything because its been 9 weeks and you really didnt have syptoms the pimple on your neck means nothing. you had an itch and it went away?
A itch or irritation on your urehra wouldnt go away that fast.

This is what you can do for peace of mind. go to a free std clinic and get tested for peace of mind.

what do u mean to follow up with my provider, u mean my doctor ..??
well.., i duno what is this symptoms for, and actually i didnnt test for std's except hiv ...
soo the thing is, this symptoms i think they are nt related to std's...
right?

thanks man bt .. u knw yesterday for like i duno 12 hours i had my tip of my penis was itching u knw ...
n i think there is a sore begining to open in my inside lip ...
also around 2 weeks after my exposure ...i had itching beside my balls, bt this happened to me bfre even when i was a vergin ...
also i had this pimple in my neck, that went away after by 3 days ..., bt u knw i though its my lymph nodes bt i dnt think soo, as my pimple was under my jaws bt u knw pimple makes under it big skin u knw ...
i duno.. help me .. hehe

you can rule out gono and chlamydia, you would have had symptoms by now.


5-7 days gono and chlamydia

6 weeks Sypyillis will be accurate  and HIV gives you an excellent indication of status at that point.

3 months HIV and herpes for a conclusive result.

your 28 duo test is about 90 something % acurate, i am certain you will be negative at 6 weeks or even at 3 months for hiv.
