Hi there -
None of this is consistent with herpes, and I am glad you are being seen tomorrow.
I have read some things about hot feet being caused by a vitamin b deficiency, but talk to your doctor about that.
Your husband's tests are low positive, and I think you both need re-testing. It isn't likely yours is a false positive, but with everything going on, I would certainly re-test. It doesn't have anything to do with gender.
Please keep all your responses to this thread from now on. Thanks! It just makes it so much easier to keep up with.

This is your post from another thread -
Hi
This is lengthy. Some comments and some questions. Wanted to let you know that after three weeks os of waitingmy spouse got his results back from his hsv testing. He tested less than 1.6 for hsv2 and even less for hsv1. Why is it that my results were higher with hsv2 and nothing for hsv1? Is it normal that women more receptive to high counts?
In the meantime, I am still scheduled to see our pcp on Monday 7/28.
I am totally concerned because my feet are becoming very sensitive plus minute spots, some white , some red, and then turn dark. even as I am writing these comments my feet are itching and hot.Water causes them to really itch. It looks like small warts are now embedded in my hands.
I am also losing more hair around the edges of hairline on my head.
Not sure if these symtons are related to the hsv2 or the Urticaria that my dermy has diagnoised. Can hsv2 cause nagging pain to the lower extremeties of the body always in the exact location? I am referring to my pelvis area. And does it cause swelling such as your knees, and feet?
We are not into the sex these days, weeks, and coming months, peobably no more. Should I ask my pcp to write a prescription for the to helpValtrex to begin to lessen the breakouts.
My pcp will be informed by me that my dermy has tested me for all stds and only hsv2 was evident., Now I fear that the condition is a threat to my teeth, tongue and gums. Should I also inform my dentist
about my situation.
If my pcp suggest more blood work because of the ongoing hand and feet concern though I am tense, I will agree to it. I want to get along with my life and I am praying thatafter Monday it will be a bit easier to begin to live again.
Is there anyone in this community that are experiencing any of these symptoms. Please communicate.
All is not well. Is there a fhead shrinker orum for people who are having a hard time dealing with being positive with hsv1&2?
Will watch for response...Grateful4life
Thanks for responding. Will let u know results.

No this is not all due to herpes. You should return to your provider for further work up to see what is going on. It doesn't sound like you'll be able to wait until the end of the month - call and see if you can be seen today or tomorrow.

Part 3 My computer seems to be irritable this evening so I hope these posts are not sounding crazy.
Lastly my feet continue to get the tiny red spots, itch and are continously dry. There are days when they are tender and even carpet is mildly irritable. Some days my tongue is splotchy . 2 years ago was the first time that I had ever heard of a geographic tongue my dentist said there was nothing worry about...that was then.
Not scheduled to see him until October...Should I schedule for an earlier date , let it wait or discuss it with my PCP.
Can any of these symptoms listed be Hsv2 related? Some days I don't think about the Hsv2 and there are nights when it consumes me totally. Can or will this std progress to another std. And finally I have not taken a second blood test for the hsv or hiv but deep within I feel like there is yet a more deeper underlying cause being misdiagnoised.
PCP office visit due on the 28 of this month. Hope tha I can communicate with him as I can with you.
Let me thank you for the time it takes you to read this and the responses that you send where needed. By now you can tell that I am so confused and bewildered.
Would love to hear from anyone who is experiencing any of these symptoms.
accidently hit an incorrect key...
Ok so now I continue... almost daily there is a
1. Nagging and often tearing pain in the lower right side of my back.
2.Most nights I can barely bend my right knoee to get in bed.
3. Pain in my right knee. (I am not over weight 5'4 155lbs.
4. Sharp pains on my right side.
Remember in previous post the dermatologist diagnoised me with Urticaria as I keep reading the different post I located info that related the hives break out with HSV2.
It's been on and off hell for me these past few weeks. Still have not heard from my spouse's PCP. I think that on last night I was in the stage of shedding skin.
It was a small patch on fold of the inside of both my inner thighs. It nearly freaked me out. How often does this happen?
The other thing is that the right side of my body is being attacked in the following ways
OK first things first.
Your herpes test might be a false positive, but its unlikely. How long it takes to get the results depends entirely on the lab, and how they report results back to the doctors, but 3 weeks seems like a LONG time. My guess is they will be in sooner than that.
HIV wouldn't be producing these symptoms, and unless you were infected within the last 3 months, your test is reliable. If it would make you feel better to test again with a blood test, that's your call, but there isn't any need to, medically speaking.
When you say on your hairline, do you mean on your head, or in your genital area? If its on your head, its not going to be syphilis, and if you were in secondary syphilis, you would not be testing negative for it.
I'm not at all sure why you are so focused on stds, but it seems the only one you have is hsv2.
Your testing would be reported to your insurance company, but the results wouldn't be. However, if you have prescription coverage, and get medication filled, like valtrex, then they will likely figure it out. I'm not sure why you are worried.
Herpes isn't reported to the state, in most states. You can check with your doctor about that.
At this rate, why would you go to an anonymous clinic? You've done everything so far with your gyn, so its all already been reported to insurance.
