question about std

i want to know that if any std is left untreated.. how does it increase the risk of hiv transmission??

To add to an excellent answer by nick7430 some any STD increases the risk because the immune system is fighting a losing battle so this opens up the body to other STD and HIV.

if you have an STD you are more likely to contract another one especially if you have Herpes which is highly infectious you are more liklely to contract another disease even more seroius one read at bupa.co.uk.
