Umm probably, not definitively. HPV can take years to appear, but 14 is a big stretch. The longest I've ever heard is 7 years.

thanks for info...ok...I have same scenario different explanation. Women in a monogamous relationship for 16years, never tested positive for HPV before. Then has sex with someone who say's he was in a monogamous relationship for 14 years. Now she has tested positive for HPV. Obviously she contracted it from him, does this confirm he was not in a monogamous relationship?
You can transfer it without symptoms, but I'd be surprised if someone had hpv for 14 years.

From my understanding it's only if you have warts present, then they can be transferred. If you have none (even the hard to spot/barely visible) then you should be good to go.
