Urethral discomfort

I had unprotected sex in November while taking clomid (I was coming off a steroid cycle), a week or so later I had what some bladder/urethral discomfort so I panicked and took tetracycline for a week, but this made it feel worse so I got an std screen done (results were negative) and was treated for chlamydia and gonnorhea since then the urethral itch/burning has continued (no lumps, bumps, or blisters to report) and seems to get worse if I eat sugary foods or drink alcohol, thoughts?

Thanks for the update after all your antibiotics, let us know if anything has helped or taken your discomfort away completely if you don't mind.
Flagyl and fluconazol (diflucan) together cleared everything up. My diet slipped the last few days and today there was some urethral itchiness. I'm going to clean up my diet again and maybe take another diflucan and see what happens.

Unfortunately, when I got the tests/treatment done I was also given a gram of azithromycin and a shot of cefatriaxone. I'm headed to get tested again tomorrow, hopefully I can figure out what's up.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know what the treatment protocol is for micoplasm bacteria?

Sounds a bit like what I have and I have had a irratation in my urethra after unprotected sex for 5 years now. Mine also gets worse after I drink a bunch of cokes or other realy sugary things.  I have a host of other symptoms aswell now from this since it's gone on for so long. Good luck with your search for answers, I haven't had any luck and doctors these days don't like to do much thinking it seems. Once the test come back negative than that's it there done bye bye have nice day.
i also had the urethra thing for ten yrs i got a shot of cefatriaxone and 1gram of azithromycin and it seems to have alleviated it along with some gastro issues and a scratchy throat
Interesting I took cipro for a few days with no change at all but maybe I should try that stuff. At this point if somone told me the cure is to dip your penis in hot candle wax and than rinse it off with bleach I would try it.

If this is related to the unprotected sex then this may be due to a bacterial infection, possibly a micoplasm bacteria.

There may be other causes to eliminate with your doctor regarding kidneys, bladder or prostate.
